Calum: I am looking into renting a car this summer, provisionally for the first 3 weeks of August, and Jolly Wheels seems to be a good option for us. I have got a few things which you may be able to help us with before I book. Firstly we will be visiting from the UK, so I assume that will our licenses will be fine? We will all be 21 years old and would like 2 or 3 drivers, depending on price. Also we are hoping to travel out of state, perhaps as far as Virginia, so if you had any vehicles that are available for high mileage that would be perfect. For insurance, we would want as much covered as possible, and wondered whether the SLI insurance was necessary, or would just the standard Collision Waiver be suitable. We have no real preference of vehicle, but are looking to keep to as low a budget as possible. We would be very grateful of your suggestions or guidance. I look forward to hearing from you.

Each of the following vehicles are for $1700 or $2100 full coverage insurance, and you may add all 3 drivers for free, UK licenses OK, Under 25 OK: 2002 Ford Taurus 2002 Nissan Quest 2002 Dodge Stratus. These cars come with unlimited miles perfect for your trip to Virginia and list of other FREE features. WE may even be able to get you free GPS Navigation. I recommend that you research these cars to see which works best for you. A good site to use would be http://www.edmonds.com. In order to secure the rental we will need to collect a payment of $620USD or $1020USD depending on which insurance coverage you purchase. Please advise how we can be any further assistance.

Calum: Thanks for your quick response. This has been helpful, but we will be using your Orlando branch, so I assume there will be cars with unlimited mileage there as well? If so, I hope to make a booking very shortly.

Jolly Wheels Rent A Car: OK Great, for our Orlando, FL branch I can offer you the following even lower car rental rates of $1050 or $1450 with full coverage insurance. 2002 Ford Taurus Wagon. We have other vehicles available, however, due to length and distance, this is the rental vehicle I will recommend for you. This vehicle does not come with unlimited miles however you will get 2100 free miles and just $.10 cents per mile additional. That’s only $10.00 for every additional 100 miles. Please advise if this works for you.

Amit: I want to start up rental business. How will you guys set up customers from there and how much will I have to pay back to you guys.

Jolly Wheels Rent A Car: The sponsor program works by us collecting a 20% mark up from the price that you set. We take our cut ahead of time, then send the customer to you. Example … your price is $50/day … we will advertise $60/day … we would collect $10 from the customer by credit card then send you an e-mail with the rental details. When customer comes to get the vehicle you collect $50 cash. We also provide insurance if the renter does not have their own. Are you and your vehicles in New Zeland? We don’t currently have a set up there. You may be the first.

Amit: Yes, I am in NZ. Currently have 2 spare vehicles, but can increase if business is good. I am currently working as an accountant, this is something extra I would like to setup if it goes good. So will I have to apply for license to operate here in NZ or will it come under your umbrella? Also, insurance, does your price includes insurance cost?

Jolly Wheels Rent A Car: We might have to do some research about rental insurance in your country. I am aware that one of our vendors do accept policies up to 30 days in all European countries. I will get back to you on that. Please advise of the year make and model of the cars that you have. Also if you can provide a postal code so I can have an idea of your location.

Amit: Its Nissan Primera 98, station wagon and Honda accord 96, sedan. But the vehicles might change, as they need some repairs, so I will buy some good condition ones. But they will be similar type of vehicles. Post code is 3200, but I’ll be moving to a new place in a few months time, and the post code will be 3210.
